The Budownictwo Elektroenergetyczne SELPOL S.A. has developed technologically in collaborationin collaboration with the following research and development entities:

  • Technological University of £ód¼ (Politechnika £ódzka) - the collaboration started in 1996 in the area of designing and installing ADSS and OPGW conductors on HV lines and implementing new installation technologies, steel structure solutions, foundation solutions, and verification tests.
  • Institute of Construction Technology (Instytut Techniki Budowlanej) - Warsaw, since 2004, in respect of verifying structural computations for tubular and latticed poles for various voltages and test analyses.
  • Technological University of Gdańsk (Politechnika Gdańska), since 2006, in the area of testingof testing the foundations on the four-track 2x400kV/2x220kV Plewiska-Kromolice line.
  • Institute of Construction Technology (Instytut Techniki Budowlanej) - Warsaw, in 2010, with a view to preparing a research and development paper "Installation Technology For Aluminium Composite Core Conductors and Trapezium-Shaped Wires, e.g. ACCC/TW, On Overhead High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage Power Lines".
  • Association of Polish Mechanical Engineers and Technicians (Stowarzyszenie Inæynierów i Techników Mechaników Polskich SIMP) Warsaw, in 2010, in the area of innovation of the project "Installation Technology For Aluminium Composite Core Conductors and Trapezium-Shaped Wires, e.g. ACCC/TW, On Overhead High Voltage and Ultra High Voltage Power Lines.
  • AFG University of Science and Technology (Akademia Górniczo-Hutnicza) Kraków, in 2010, in the area of testing the AFL-8 350 conductor as per the PN EN 50182 standard and the impact of untwisting conductors on their service conditions.
  • Technological University of £ód¼, Institute of Electrical Power Engineering (Politechnika £ódzka, Instytut Elektroenergetyki), in 2011, in respect of the prospects of developing modern aluminium composite core conductors and trapezium-shaped wires, e.g. ACCC/TW, on overhead high voltage and ultra high voltage power lines.

The Company applies modern technologies and continuously invests in the means of production.
